Top 9 New School Artistes Whose Song Gave Them Fame In 2015

In a year which has been dominated with the rise of many new artistes, it is almost impossible to shorten the list of Songs which 'blew up' certain new artistes this year but then this list is close to as perfect as it can get when it comes to mentioning the top 10 songs which blew up this year from new artistes. Without further ado let's get down to business. 1. Woju - A song which had a great buzz within the first quarter of the year, Woju was the song which finally brought G-worldwide's frontliner Kiss Daniels into the limelight. A remix with Davido and Tiwa Savage further cemented his place up there. 2. Laye - Yet another offering from Kiss Daniels which further showed him not just as a One Hit wonder but as an act that can successfully "mess with the same sound"(Raba pun intended) and create two different hits. These 2 songs shot New School act Kiss Daniels into the limelight. 3. Godwin - A street anthem and one of the few songs in Nigerian history that could be used in any church to praise God as well as (sadly) rocked to in any Club, Godwin was an infectious tune which successfully carved Korede Bello his own niche in the Music Industry. 4. Sade - AdekunleGold of YBNL was shot into the limelight as the 3rd YBNL act to have successfully 'blown' in the 2nd quarter of the year with his rendition of Sade, a cover version done on a One Direction song. 5. Jamb Question - The first new female face to be known this year was Simi and although Tiff was her first song this year to give her some buzz, Jamb Question was the final stroke of the racket to win her the points of 'blowing up' in the Music industry. With a title that became a phrase on the lips of the streets, Simi definitely has to thank this tune for her fame this year. 6. Awww - Di'Ja Of The Mavin Group dropped this Classic alternative tune which had a unique video and early this year the buzz it got was enough to make her stand out as her own individual and get her much popularity amongst music lovers. 7. Illegal - Pepenazi is a new school artiste who has been behind the scenes for sometime now but this year he released certain songs which started creating some good buzz for him as well as his cameos in most YBNL videos. Low and Fifemayo were starters but Illegal is the tune which took his name to the streets and finally put him at his highest point in the limelight. 8. Mosquito Killer This tune is easily hated or easily danced to. Pasuma's prodigy Small Doctor [/ b]became the rave of the streets especially in Lagos with this anthem and is now one of the recognizable faces of Nigerian New School Music. 9. [b] Katapot - With the respectable success of Chop Am in 2014, Reekado Banks needed to make a strong statement in 2015 and this song which was alleged to be a beef for Wande Coal and D'Banj with its unique video was the perfect tune to 'Catapult' him into the upper echelons of the Nigerian new school hitmakers. 10. German Juice - Having already created buzz for herself in 2014 with Don't Break My Heart , Cynthia Morgan succesfully cemented her place as a force to reckon with in the new school nigerian music industry with this fast paced patois-sung tune and it did her music C.V the best.

Lil Kesh : Is It Because I Love You Review

Lil Kesh has proven his mettle as a Star that has come to stay over the past 18months. He is the only or one of the few new school acts whose every track has turned out to be a hit. From Shoki to the Remixes to Gbese to Efejoku and now Is It Because I Love You. They have all gotten considerable buzz and all topped various charts around the country. Yet, questions keep been asked, is he a rapper or a singer. Lyrically and I No Well freestyle were Rap songs but the rest of his songs including the not so popular Last Card Freestyle have all seen him take a fast paced singing method which is definitely not Rap. But that is a discussion for some other day, today we focus on his latest singing which is fast becoming a street anthem - IS IT BECAUSE I LOVE YOU Ft. Patoranking. Laced on a YoungJon and Pheelz produced instrumental, this tune does not delve away from Lil Kesh's stylized pattern of music which is fast paced singing which could be mistaken for Rap. Patoranking's Patois influenced verse on the song almost seemed out of place for Kesh's style but somehow it blends into a perfect collaboration. With cheesy lyrics and a 2nd verse which had a line with a sexual undertone we definitely aren't surprised by Kesh's latest offering but are we going to get so used to his style that we start getting bored of it? Only time can tell. In the meantime, we have to admit, another hit is born and if a video drops for this, be rest assured it will top all charts. Lil Kesh is an artiste that has proven over and over again that sticking to one's original style and titling of one's song with 'unique' and 'corny' names will help one's music break ithe market. He may not be the perfect rapper with songs out there to represent HipHop, but he sure has a solid understanding of the industry and knows how to make music which will run the streets. Credits also have to go to the YBNL team on the Music business sense as most Push go to Lil Kesh as his commerciality is 2nd only to Olamide's in the group. We rate this new song 7/10. Its a Jam! SKIBO!

BEAUTY : 10 Tips To Get A Fresh Glowing Skin

1.  Avoid Long Steamy Showers Instead, opt for shorter, cooler sprays. Long, hot showers strip the skin of its moisture and wash away its protective oils. So limit your showers to 10 minutes and keep the water cool.

2. Apply Aloe Vera Gel Daily
Smooth some aloe vera gel over extra dry skin everyday. The acids in aloe eat away at dead skin cells and speed up the healing process. Buy a pre-prepared product or cut the end off of an aloe leaf, split it open and spread the gel on the dry area.

3. Cook With Garlic Every Day A 1996 Danish study found that skin cells grown in a culture dish and treated with garlic had seven times the lifespan of cells grown in standard culture. They also tended to look healthier and more youthful than untreated cells. Plus, garlic extract dramatically inhibited the growth of cancerous skin cells.

4.
Drink Plenty of Orange Juice
Orange juice is rich in vitamin C, essential for the manufacture of collagen, which helps to keep the skin smooth and youthful. Other foods rich in vitamin C include guava, kiwi fruit and red peppers.

5.
Exfoliate Every Day Use a loofah every day to keep ingrown hairs and scaly skin under control. While you’re in the shower, gently scrub bumpy or scaly skin with a circular motion to remove dead skin cells.
6.

Take Multivitamins Daily Many nutrients are vital to healthy skin, including vitamins C, A and B. The most reliable way to get them all is to eat healthily, as well as taking a daily supplement.
7.

Keep Your Hands off Your Face Because your hands touch so many surfaces, they are a magnet for dirt and germs. Rub your eyes, stroke your chin, cup your cheek, and you’ve transferred everything on your hands to your face. As an extension of this, use headphones or a headset when talking on the phone.
8.

Change Your Moisturizer Every Season Every time the seasons change, replace your moisturizer. Your skin needs more moisture than in summer. So when it’s time to wear a heavy coat, it’s time to buy a heavier moisturizer. When you swap your coats for t-shirts, switch to a lighter one.
9.

Get Rid of Excess Oil De-shine your face by periodically dabbing on loose powder to blot excess oil. Don’t use pressed powder, which actually contains oil as an ingredient.
10.

Choose Cosmetics Carefully Keep your beauty products simple, particularly if you have sensitive skin. Stay away from anything with colour or fragrance, or anything that produces bubbles or has 'antibacterial’ on the label.
